The study examines the impact of partisan motivations on misinformation and disinformation sharing in South Korea. It reveals that individuals' intentions to share false information are linked to their beliefs, while partisan motivations obstruct the correction of mistaken beliefs. However, no direct connection between partisan motivations and disinformation sharing was found. The study concludes that partisan motivations primarily exacerbate false information spread by hindering the formation of accurate beliefs.

The talk will focus on Japan’s geoeconomic strategy in the Indo-Pacific, whose concept has become prominent within Japanese foreign policy since its introduction in the early 2000s.
