This academic forum focuses on exploring key issues in Southeast Asian studies while fostering discussions on research collaboration between Taiwan and Southeast Asia. Topics include bibliometric analysis of ASEAN studies, the development of subnational diplomacy in Indonesia, Taiwan studies in Indonesia, and how local economies like coffee can enhance Indonesia's state branding efforts.

In this workshop, we will navigate the three compelling topics to foster a greater understanding of the two democracies on the global stage.

本次台灣政治學會年會以「國際秩序的衝擊和民主政治的挑戰」為核心主題，與國立中山大學政治學研究所共同主辦，邀請國內外政治學者以「國際秩序的衝擊與民主政治的挑戰」為出發點，探討衝突和安全、民主治理、永續發展等政治學核心主題，並強調這些問題如何在現實中被應對。

Prof. Huang's presentation focused on determinants of public support for war in Taiwan.It is an attempt to analyze the factors that contribute to support for an assumed war in Taiwan and to explain how these factors work. He used various attributes such as 'Wealth distribution', 'US strategic stance', 'Expected war outcome', 'Taiwanese casualties', 'Taiwan's cost for war', 'Chinese casualties', and 'Chinese cost for war' at each level and presented together. It was interesting to see the methodological clarification of complex factors and the attempt to use them strategically in the analysis. I believe that strategic studies that assume a scenario of Chinese armed intervention in the increasingly tense cross-strait relationship will be useful for policy.

年度數位治理研究盛會之一的2022 E-Society 高峰會：數位治理—探索、實踐、與批判，在10/14（五）於中山大學政治學研究所（實體/線上）舉辦。

第12屆歐洲論文發表會在6/17（五）舉辦，本次會議由中山大學國際長郭志文先生、台灣歐洲聯盟中心蘇宏達先生、政治所所長劉正山老師共同開幕致詞，聯合18位發表者和各評論老師共襄盛舉，順利完成本次發表會。
