In addition to your professional knowledge, the skills that the industry cares the most nowadays include not only analyzing public opinion and social media data with the use of data science tools, but also interpreting accurately political, economic, social, and communication phenomena.
This program trains you to combine technical skills and interpretation skills to open up more career options.
【credit requirements for the program】
Take any three courses, and fulfill the requirement of nine credits, in which at least three credits should not be granted by the student’s home institution, double major or minor degree; students can get their diploma annotated with “Political Economy Big Data Analysis Micro Program” (shown as picture below).
