The study examines the impact of partisan motivations on misinformation and disinformation sharing in South Korea. It reveals that individuals' intentions to share false information are linked to their beliefs, while partisan motivations obstruct the correction of mistaken beliefs. However, no direct connection between partisan motivations and disinformation sharing was found. The study concludes that partisan motivations primarily exacerbate false information spread by hindering the formation of accurate beliefs.
