Studying politics and international relations at IPS of NSYSU give me some important points. First, it gives me an opportunity to deepening my understanding and knowledge about politics and international relations. The IPS provides some exciting courses that give me more than knowledge but skills, techniques, and perspectives. Studying quantitative analysis at IPS enriches my analyses skill and inspires me to find new research topics, while another course about interpretive perspective encourages me to think deeply. Therefore, study at IPS gives me complete “tools” to analyzing phenomena in politics and international relations both in qualitative and quantitative ways. Second, it is broadening my academic network. IPS often invite prominent scholars who share their research and perspective and allow me to connect to them. Interaction with Taiwanese and International students also benefit my study life and my future network career. The professors in this institute are friendly, helpful, and love to share their inspiring ideas and stories. I am grateful to be taught by them. Another important point is that the IPS provides an independent research scholarship that encourages us to explore and practice our research skills. Although study here is challenging, I am enjoying it, and I will do my best.
