The six years leading up to my graduation have been a most memorable journey. From my first arrival at the Institute of Political Science, I have continuously been led to embrace new experiences, new ways of thinking, and new ways of conducting research. The professionalism and high standards of the institute have motivated me to reconsider the theoretical stances which had priorly underpinned not only my approach towards academia, but also many of my basic assumptions about the world around me. I am truly grateful to everyone at the department, especially Dr. Frank Liu and Dr. Liao Da-chi for their support and trust throughout my time at NSYSU and sincerely hope that through my future endeavours I will be able to meaningfully represent the Institute of Political Sciences and the standards of excellence which they hold.
