Taiwan has become a focal point in US foreign policy. As a democracy with direct presidential elections, Taiwan politics is crucial for the stability of the Indo-Pacific region.
The Center for Taiwan Studies at UT Austin is sponsoring this webinar to advance the scientific study of Taiwan politics, with a special focus on survey research and experimental design in the study of public opinion.
Five speakers will present their cutting-edge research to explore various aspects of Taiwan politics, including national identity, security, demographics, and welfare policy.
